The Method that I use

Ready to go? Off! Let’s get to know each other a little over a digital coffee and see if we fit together.

If it turns out that we fit together then we can take a closer look at the assignment and analyse whether I am the right person to complete the assignment successfully.

This is the case, for example, when the assignment consists primarily of Search.

If the assignment includes a large part of Display, it is better to look for another specialist. I do not believe in that channel enough unfortunatly.

If it turns out that the assignment suits me and a proposal is forthcoming, we will enter into the agreement and ensure a flying start!

Once the agreement is signed, I can get started. Together we look at who I take over, what things I need to pick up and I can start preparing.

I enjoy going to work and making sure the job is done well. There is regular communication on progress and any challenges are discussed.

Upon successful completion of the assignment, it will be closed according to the agreed terms and conditions. Any transfer of responsibilities to your client’s internal team will be arranged.

What does an Interim SEA Expert specialist actually do?

Are you looking for a temporary worker to replace one of your permanent in-house SEA experts? Then I can help. I am quickly deployable, flexible and have extensive experience in managing campaigns from €1,000 to €100,000 per month. Below in outline how I ideally work for clients.


Thorough research

In my role as an interim SEA specialist, I start with a thorough analysis to get the best possible return for a campaign. I carefully research the target audience, identify relevant keywords. Tools such as the Google Keyword Planner and Search Console play a crucial role in researching search volumes and opportunities.

The result of this analysis is an initial campaign, including associated Ad Groups, targeted keywords, negative keywords and ads ready to be displayed in the Google network.

Account Setup & Tracking

Based on the research carried out, the account is set up (or adjusted if an account already exists). I use special software to set up your account in the best possible way so that we can get the most out of it.

If necessary, I implement conversion tracking to accurately measure what happens on the website. This allows us to effectively monitor campaign results.


Management & Optimisation

After the account is set up and the campaign is active, comes the time for management and optimisation. On a regular basis (depending on the budget, click prices and volume), the account is managed and optimised. We exclude unwanted keywords, adjust bidding strategies and (if necessary) add new ad groups and ads.

This process is almost always carried out with the main objective of achieving more conversions at lower costs.

Periodic Reporting

Periodically, as a SEA specialist, I report to provide insight into the performance and progress of campaigns. I highlight key KPIs discuss targets.

Trends and changes from previous months are analysed, giving us insight into performance trends.

Google Analytics combined with Looker Studio play a crucial role in reporting. This allows us to delve deeper into user behaviour, conversion paths and other relevant insights.
