The Method I use

Are you ready to get started? Over a virtual coffee, let’s get to know each other a little better and see if we are a good match.

As an entrepreneur, it is important to know where you stand with your business and what your goals are. During our first meeting, we will discuss how many visitors your website currently has and where you want to go. Based on this information, we can come up with a strategy and look at the possibilities of using Google Ads.

As a business owner, it is also important to know your company’s goals so that you can define an effective digital marketing strategy. One clear page outlines the paid channels, such as Search, Display, Shopping and Video, that we will use to grow your business.

Once we have determined our strategy, we can plan for the first six months. We determine which actions will have the most impact, so we can tackle them first.

It’s time for implementation. Based on the goals, strategy and planning, we now really get to work and grow your business online. As a digital marketer, I will execute hands-on, but also outsource where necessary.

Once everything has been implemented, we will use the data to see where we can optimise and expand.

What does a digital marketer actually do?

As an interim digital marketer, I am responsible for developing and implementing online marketing strategies to increase brand awareness, website traffic and sales. Hands-on working means for me means:

onderzoek

Thorough Research

Starting at the beginning, I thoroughly research your business and your customers. What do you actually sell? What journey does a customer take? Where are you already present? And where is there still room for improvement?
We also do a thorough 0-meting. Where does your website stand now? How many visitors does the website have? Is the website conversion-oriented? Where do your visitors come from?
These questions form the basis of creating a strategy to grow your business.

Strategy & Implementation

After completing the research, a solid strategy is in place and implementation can begin. It is therefore my responsibility to monitor it and keep track of the planning. This involves some project management and there will be regular consultation between the parties involved.

Waren er nog vragen?

Vragen die veel gesteld worden. Bovendien is dit een prettige manier om de content van een pagina uit te breiden (niet doorvertellen 🤫).

To measure the success of a Google Ads campaign, I use several Key Performance Indicators (KPIs). Some KPIs I often use are:
  1. Conversion volume: The number of desired actions completed by users, such as purchases, subscriptions, downloads, etc. This gives insight into the actual result of the campaign.
  2. Conversion rate: This is the percentage of visitors who actually convert. A higher conversion rate indicates that the campaign is effective in attracting qualified traffic.
  3. Cost per conversion: This indicates the average amount of money spent to achieve a conversion. A lower amount indicates that the campaign is efficient and has a positive ROI.
  4. Click-through rate (CTR): This is the percentage of users who actually click on the ad. A higher CTR indicates that the ad is attractive and relevant to the target audience.
Measuring these KPIs gives a holistic picture of the success of the Google Ads campaign and allows me to make any optimisations.

Absolutely! As an entrepreneur, I have gained a lot of experience in managing and optimising Google Ads campaigns in different languages and regions. I have run successful campaigns in languages such as Dutch, English, French and German. In addition, I also have experience in targeting specific regions, such as the Netherlands, Belgium, Germany, France, the United Kingdom and the United States. Whether you want to advertise globally or specifically target certain regions, I can help you set up and manage effective Google Ads campaigns.

Reporting the performance of my campaigns to my clients depends on the specific account. Generally, I have monthly contact with each client to discuss results. In the case of larger accounts, this can also be every other week or even weekly, depending on the client’s needs.

Yes, I enjoy using various utilities and software to manage my Google Ads campaigns. In particular, I am a fan of the Google Ads Editor and Trueclicks because they help me work more efficiently and set up my campaigns better.

I have experience in multiple industries and niches, but I have no specific preference. I have worked in the industries of pest control, logistics, legal, driving schools, plumbers, childcare, internet providers and e-commerce, among others. If your industry is not listed, don’t worry. Digital marketing works the same way for every business, only the details are often slightly different.
